Abstract
The Blockchain Paradox
The current cryptocurrency market exists in a major paradox (The Blockchain Paradox): the unavoidable trade-off between CEX performance and DEX security.
CEX Limitations: Although providing a smooth experience, more than 500 million users on centralized exchanges face Custody Risk. Their assets do not truly belong to them, leading to serious consequences when an exchange encounters an incident or insolvency.
DEX Barriers: Conversely, current decentralized exchanges often come with high latency, volatile transaction costs, and significant technical barriers (Seed Phrase management, wallet installation). This prevents the vast majority of mainstream users from accessing financial autonomy.
Bullbit addresses this paradox by combining:
CEX-level Performance: An In-Memory CLOB architecture enables order matching with ultra-low latency and throughput of up to 10,000 transactions per second.
DEX-level Security: Trades are settled on Base in batches and verified by an on-chain Verifier contract. Users hold their assets through Account Abstraction smart wallets secured by Passkey.
Strategic Evolution Roadmap
Bullbit is not built on theoretical hypotheses; we execute based on actual market growth through a Dual-Track strategy
Phase 1: App-rollup on Base L2
Currently, Bullbit operates as an App-rollup on the Base network. Choosing the App-rollup model for dApp development helps the project leverage Ethereum's security, the abundant liquidity of the Base ecosystem, and rapid user onboarding capabilities.
Status: Production-Ready.
Security: Bullbit's smart contracts have been audited by Hacken (Protocol V1, January 2026, 93.23% code coverage), QuillAudits (Smart Wallet, May 2026), CertiK (BUBI token and vesting, June 2026) and Verichains (governance, staking and node reward contracts, June 2026). Full reports are available on the Audits page.
Phase 2: BullChain (Sovereign Layer 1 )
To achieve full autonomy and optimize trading performance at the highest level, Bullbit is moving toward transitioning to a separate Sovereign Layer 1 (built on the Cosmos SDK).
Sovereignty: Protocol-level control over gas parameters, block time and verification logic.
Native AA: Directly integrates Passkey authentication into the consensus layer, eliminating intermediate entities and minimizing costs for users.
Status: Private Testnet
The journey from a successful App-rollup on L2 to an independent Layer 1 is a testament to Bullbit's commitment to building a sustainable, scalable financial infrastructure that prioritizes the interests of traders.
